Last updated 28 September 2026. This covers the Saybol iPhone app (beta) and this website.
The short version
The app has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your voice and your calls stay on your iPhone. This website only keeps your email if you join the beta list.
The app
- Your voice: turned into text on your iPhone by Apple's speech recognition. It is not recorded, saved or uploaded.
- Your calls: the replies are made on your iPhone, by Apple Intelligence or a model you download. Calls are not saved after they end and are never sent anywhere.
- Downloads: the app downloads its voice and brain models once, from Hugging Face (huggingface.co) and Apple. Like any download, those servers see your IP address. The app sends them no personal data.
- Settings: your choices (character, brain, background, captions) are stored on your iPhone. Settings > Reset Saybol deletes them and all downloaded models. Deleting the app deletes everything.
- Crash reports: if you test through TestFlight and allow it, Apple shares crash reports and feedback you send with the developer. These do not include your calls.
This website
- Beta list: if you join, we store your email, the date, and whether you came from a shared link. It is stored with Cloudflare and used only to email you about the beta. We don't sell or share it.
- Hosting: the site is hosted on Cloudflare. The home page also loads a font from Google Fonts and 3D code from jsDelivr. These services can see your IP address, as with any website.
- No cookies and no analytics on this site.
Your choices
To remove your email from the beta list, or for any question, email 9u.harsh@gmail.com. We delete it within a few days.
Children
Saybol is not made for children under 13.
